INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS POLICY //

DGA Constructions is dedicated to good management of industrial relations on all our projects.

The company’s attitude towards successful industrial relations has always been based on developing employee relationships with mutual respect. Each site supervisor is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that all Award conditions and WHS requirement are met on site.

Non-compliance or deviances from these conditions are often the main catalyst for industrial disputes.  The company prefers that any dispute that arises is first attempted to be solved at the workplace level between the Site Supervisor and the Site Delegate.  Failing that, the Senior Executive is called in who is responsible for the overall company industrial relations policy and management.

The Company also has a policy of ensuring that all sub-contractors comply with all Award and WHS conditions.  A checklist and evidence of compliance is also required from each site contractor before any commencement of site.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT POLICY //

DGA Constructions is committed to continually reducing the effects of greenhouse gas emissions associated with the company’s activities.

DGA Constructions has a proven Environmental Management Plan to:

  • Encourage the most efficient use of resources

  • Continually reduce waste generation

  • Minimise the waste of natural resources

  • Encourage the use of recycled building waste materials and materials recovery

  • Implement all practical measures to minimise noise

DGA Constructions’ Environmental Management is based on AS/NZS 14001:2004

QUALITY ASSURANCE //

As an organisation with extensive experience in the industry, we have developed a strong commitment to working with strict quality controls.  Developing strong team commitments has been of major importance with our management and as such our employees take an interest and pride in their work and report daily to their direct supervisor.  Our managers also ensure constant contact with the on-site personnel and they report directly to the Director.

Work Method Statements are required from all contractors, detailing the methods to be employed during their contract.  Work Method Statements are monitored by our Site Supervisor ensuring the work performed meets our quality standard. Re-work is kept to a minimum through the controls exercised by our team

All products used by DGA Constructions for projects are of a high quality, and not accepted unless an inspection proves their standard.  Unacceptable workmanship or product will be rejected.  In many instances, we deal with quality accredited companies.  Ongoing standards of excellence and a ‘hands on’ approach across the board ensures long term customer satisfaction and mutually rewarding associations with our client.
